Taffer’s Tavern – Watertown (arsenal Yards)

First visit and it was all they would expect from j. taffer. solid food, inventive drinks and excellent service. all tasted great. only minus I can think we weren't asked if we wanted more water. total great night.

Drinking was great. eating was very average and overpriced.

Taffer’s tavern was such a vibe! we were around 6 and it wasn’t crazy. it was quiet but energetic, and so cozy with the kamin in the inner. our server was great (what I could remember their names! and eating was delicious. I'm pregnant, can't drink, but the cocktails that all the others got in the group were so cool that one of them came in a French press! 10/10 will return definitiw.

As a fan of Bar Rescue, I couldn’t wait to try out Taffers Tavern in Arsenal Yards and The Resurrection, a rum based drink featured on the show. Whoo! Spinach Artichoke Dip was amazing and a huge portion for two of us. I had onion soup for dinner, which was also excellent and my friend had pot roast. He left nothing and I have about half of the soup for dinner tonight. The burgers looked delicious, but they don’t yet have one that is plant-based. I will be back!!! And I will be asking that Shawn be my waiter again. He is the best.

Food seemed prepared. Burger was small. Roast beef au jus was tough and forgot dip and I had to ask for it.
