Chef's Door - Watertown

My favorite and “go-to” Chinese restaurant! Golden Palace is owned and operated by a three-person family who work extremely friendly, pleasant and hard. Perfect for going out or diving!

My daughter and I are vegetarians, and for years, all that is available are sponge-like tofu dishes. But now there are better, more realistic tasting alternatives to Tofu, but most restaurants have not yet on board. When my wife and I ordered Chinese food tonight, I stumbled on her vegetarian section and was surprised to see so many classic meat dishes available as vegetarian alternatives, so I ordered two dishes to try; General Tso and Barbecue Spare Ribs, both with mosquitoes. Both dishes were fantastic! I actually took the time to call them and tell them, and they asked me to write a review, so here it is. This is my Chinese restaurant now.

The food was good. Service friendly. No tofu in the broccoli and garlic sauce, despite a charge. Will definitely gives another shot.

You have the best food. Your vegetarian dishes are unbeatable. They are the perfect place to go out or dive. The family that has the place brings a lot of hard work into it and it shows!

Love it here. We've ordered out countless times and we've never had anything to complain about. I know Chinese is extremely subjective but we have enjoyed everything we've ever ordered. Staff is very nice.
