Gino's Pizza - Waterloo

I visited the restaurant on January 24th, 2022 at 6:15 PM and the woman serving me at the register had her mask pulled down under her chin, exposing her mouth and nose. The restaurant has an open kitchen where she handled food and other items without wearing a mask or gloves. There was no hand sanitizer available for guests. I did not see any staff wearing masks behind the counter. The employee handling my order gave me a pen that had also been used by the customer before me without sanitizing it. There were no signs promoting cleanliness or hygiene practices. I would not recommend eating here, especially if you have any health concerns.

I will not be returning to this restaurant, and I am relieved that we did not place an order after experiencing such TERRIBLE customer service. My friend and I were shopping at Walmart and decided to grab a pizza to take home. I was wearing a basic mask, but my friend was not. When we entered the store, the manager immediately made fun of us to another customer, saying that only children wear masks these days, which was completely uncalled for. The customer also did not offer any words of support. Instead of serving us, the manager continued to mock us. When I asked if there was a problem, she proceeded to yell at us and call us names. We left without receiving any service and reported the incident to the Head Office, but they dismissed our concerns as a joke and refused to address the situation. We will not be ordering from Gino's Pizza again after being treated so poorly during a pandemic. The manager at this location is absolutely terrible.

I had a great experience at this restaurant, especially with their delicious pizza! I called a day in advance to order two party pizzas for the frontline workers at a nearby nursing home during the Covid 19 pandemic. The restaurant usually doesn't open until 11, but I needed the pizzas delivered by then so the staff could enjoy them before their shift. The owner of the restaurant went above and beyond by arriving early and sending the delivery drivers ahead of schedule. This level of service is exceptional and greatly appreciated. The pizza was a huge hit and lifted the spirits of the nursing home workers, who said it was the best pizza they ever had. Thank you, Ginos Pizza.

All right. Good prices and very generous with blows, but the quality of the ingredients that was questioned as the pizza flavor was very dirty. I went with bacon, sausage and pepperoni and thin crust. Maybe regular crust should have gone because pizza became quite soft.... Give them another shot on regular crust before I try other place next time

I had a terrible experience with this location. I ordered a large pizza with pineapple on half and chili peppers, key word HALF. When I received my pizza there was pineapple on the entire pizza and no chili peppers. Mind you, I am UNABLE to...consume pineapples. When I called them to inform them my order was wrong, the head chef told me he made my order right when he did not. He claimed I ordered pineapples on the entire thing which I did not. When I was trying to explain to him that was not the case he proceeded to attempt to yell at me. When I told him this is not how you speak to customers and I asked for his name so I could report his behaviour, he refused to give me his name claiming that he does not know his name . Then proceeded to hang up in my ear, when I called back they picked up and hung up in my ear again. I continued to call and they decided to ignore my calls. DO NOT BUY FOOD FROM THIS LOCATION! They have terrible customer service and are extremely disrespectful They have a lack of value in their customers and lack the correct training.
