Bidrage med feedbackVisited this local chain restaurant with friends for a nice relaxed meal. As always, service was great, and the burgers were awesome - large flavorful patties, good toppings etc. Fries were a little disappointing - not as many as on previous visits with a burger side, and they were a little limp. But our big complain was that the music on the sound system was cranked really loud and we could not even have a conversation across the table, inside our own booth. It was superbowl Sunday and the place was certainly not busy - lots of empty tables. There were a couple of families having a good time, and making a little noise, but I had no problem with that. What was unpleasant was the level of noise overall, which was mostly because the music was played much too loud. Too bad, I know our friends will not want to eat there again, both of them left with a headache from the roar of the pop music.
I ordered the seafood pasta. It came out cold and looked like it was under the heat lamps for a while. I asked the server to return it as it was cold. she was back in seconds so clearly she microwaved it, gave it a stir and brought it back. It still wasn't very hot but I was hungry so I ate it. Not once did she come back to us to see how everything was. This place is in the neighbourhood where I live but there are other choices now as the area gets built up so we'll go elsewhere next time.
We happened to stop in on St-Patrick's Day and were very pleased with the staff's enthusiasm. We had our 9 year old with us and she got to enjoy green milk with her dinner. Every Thursday there is a magician at this location who entertained adults and children alike!
We have eaten here as a couple and as a family/large group a few times , we have also just sat on the patio when weather permits and had a drink and people watched , this establishment tries at this location but fails in my opinion with a menu quality and selection , every time we have had there food it is either cold , undercooked or over spiced , now the drinks on the other hand ,well they do have a pretty good selection but I feel the prices are not justified , my wife and I had drinks on the patio last week and well my first sip of my girly drink did taste like booze , but after that ?none to be found ,1 ounce ? where ? same for my wife's drink ,but it did taste good , "a watermelon mojito" now the staff are friendly but our waitress was not up on all the brands they sell , but she made up for her lack of knowledge of them by being rather comical , laughter is the best medicine, in my opinion Boston pizza needs a remake, but hey you decide, cheers
Went there on a Saturday night around 10pm, place was nearly empty. My friend seemed to like his Ceasar salad and some kind of breaded chicken nuggets but he's never been picky. I had "broken lasagna". Fair size, way too salty, but otherwise all right, hot, baked just right, and not overly greasy. All the food got served at the same time, which is always appreciated. It took a while, 'cause the lasagna wasn't just warmed up. The soda drinks are dead flat and watery. I asked (really nicely) if maybe we were near the end of a keg or something and that was why it was off, would they mind subbing in a different one (dr. pepper for root beer) and the waitress was happy to oblige but cameback saying, yeah sorry, there's nothing wrong with it, this is how it always is. She says she switched to the other drink anyway, but it tasted like the identical sugary bilge-water. Pitiful that that's the everyday standard. But oh well, it's pop (SORT of) so, not expecting much.Around 11:30 the whole place suddenly started smelling like a toilet. We stuck around like troopers another 15-30 minutes but the smell stayed too. We weren't sitting near the can, but my guess was they may have chosen that time to start cleaning toilets or something big had been found spoiled in the kitchen(?)
