What a terrific place for a REAL pub meal. My friends and I had been planning to check out The Gibbled Goose for quite a while and when we finally followed through in mid-May our only regret was not doing it sooner. OUTSTANDING quality pub fare, with fish and chips that are definitely five star. EXCELLENT service that says this is an establishment that cares about ensuring its customers have a great time (take a bow Ben! We are looking forward to getting back there very soon to start working our way through the menu! (Actually the fish and chips was so good we may have to do a repeat on that before we decide to spread our wings! Definitely check our The Gibbled Goose soon! This is the place if you're looking for an amazing no fuss UK experience. The fish and chips aren't covered in 18 layers of thick chewy batter instead they are fried crispy and delicious. The steak, mushroom, and Guiness pie is a great, slow roasted pie filling with a puff pastry top. It's not in pie form, but it's just as delicious. We had Lorraine, who was awesome. We will definitely be back. Long Live the Goose! Honk!!
