Evangelo's - Wasilla

Have enjoyed going to evangalos for years and this was my worse experience ever. 8oz steak was around 3 ounce of meat and 1 Oz of fat. Portions were half size and now you have to pay for everything else on the plate. $4 for potatoes. Will not go again.

Food is very good. They need to repair the seat cushions in the booths closest to the kitchen. A good friend of mine sat in one of the booths, but the cushions are all worn out. Definitely need to be replaced with newer and softer cushions. I ordered coffee and it tasted like cheap, inexpensive coffee. Overall, a great restaurant though. One of the niceest restaurants around.

This used to be me and my girlfriends favorite restaurant. It was good food for a good price. A couple of months ago they raised their prices on just about the entire menu by anywhere from 30-50%.They’re almost as expensive as some of the nicer restaurants in anchorage now, but the food isn’t as good.They even recently reduced their menu down to a single page. I know they recently changed ownership, but this new owner raised the prices substantially without offering anything new. Having worked in the food industry before I understand the margins in restaurants are crazy, this is not a situation where prices needed to be raised to stay afloat.Overall disappointing now for how expensive it is.

Don't do it! cannot recommend this restaurant. Waited over 1 and a half hours for simple spaghetti dinners. Doesnt come with salad or bread, breadsticks are $12. Draft beer was broken, not available. Waiting and waiting, had to ask whats taking so long. Finally get our food and its barely warm, almost cold. Spaghetti. Wasted 2 hours at this place and left hungry because couldn't eat cold spaghetti didn't want to be there 1 minute longer. Should've went to Sonic down the road.

Food was great. Good atmosphere even with the changes. The service.... at least the last time we were there... sub par. Wife orders a salad, didn't get. Meals came with bread....didn't get. It wasn't a particular bussy day but the waiter we had seemed like we were in important. Lucky the little lady doing the water made us feel welcomed and was the best part of the staff.Parking: The front parking is small and well tight
