Bidrage med feedbackI decided to bring my girlfriend to Hazel for her birthday dinner after hearing some local buzz and also because I was interested in their beer selection. We were both impressed by the creativity in the dishes, both in terms of taste and presentation. The menu showcased Asian influences, such as in the gnocchi, and the flavors in the crazy rice really stood out. The foie gras was enjoyable and the zucchini bread was a great complement. We also received a lime and mint fried chicken dish from the kitchen, which was cooked perfectly. The beer selection, curated by NRG, was top-notch and included some excellent Nightshift beers from Boston. My girlfriend's sour beer choice was also fantastic. The only downside was the odd chairs on the turf grass seating area, but it didn't detract from the overall dining experience. We will definitely be returning to Hazel in the future!
My husband and I stumbled upon Hazel last Sunday (9/24) for brunch. The entire experience was wonderful and the menu was very innovative. Our server, Nathaniel, was exceptional. We began with the Kimchi Scramble before moving on to the Crispy Tots, the Breakfast Donburi, and the English Muffin Fried Chicken. Each dish was incredibly delicious, even better than Lucky Charms!
I loved the delicate flavors of the dishes on the menu. The restaurant is conveniently located across from the 9:30 club on 8th and V street. Brunch is served from 12-2:30pm. The prices are reasonable and the drink options are one-of-a-kind. I was impressed with the wide selection of beers available.
Unfortunately, hazel does not manage its OpenTable account well. we had a reservation for brunch, were thrilled to try this place, went 1.5 miles in the cold to get there only to find it completely closed for the day with zero note. we improvised with another nearby restaurant (haikan,) but that should not happen.
Most beautiful people work here. I'm sorry it's closed until the early year.
