The food was a treat. The dishes came out fairly quickly and the dining experience was streamlined.
The service was excellent: friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive without being intrusive. The food was very good. I thought the ají de gallina and ceviche clasico were excellent, the tam tam pretty good and and the sánguche de chancho were just so-so. I was a little disappointed with the signature Chilcano cocktail, which I think needed more lime and more ginger-y flavor. Maybe next time I'll add some ginger Macerado.
We made a reservation here and it was great. our waitress was excellent, eating was amazing and the drinks too. I would definitely come back.
Finally, this popular place tried during the restaurant week. Live atmosphere with friendly bar staff while waiting for my friend to join. we sat right away when we were ready and served water. the waiter was able to explain details of the menu options, but was rude and impatient with our asking. the four-course menu week offered fantastic options. I started to knödeln with the fried, then I had a raw flat plate. both were great. the tasteful sauces were the best I had. the salmon was extremely high quality. I finished with the popular chicken stew and bananen dessert. the chicken stone was delicious and more than I could eat. objects were served separately with many of the ingredients I liked. then I would mix them together for the perfect combination of tasteful bites! next time I go back (and I will) I will choose a salmon/tuna option. everything was fresh and beautifully served! jose. andres made it again!
