Capital Grille Restaurant

Don't ignore the chicken breasts! Tender and perfectly set in saute.

This place is clearly a DC institution. The waitstaff is exemplary, the food was delicious (I had the special which was Halibut over couscous), and we were tucked into our own little pocket of the restaurant where we could enjoy the group's company without worrying about bothering others. The sides we shared were delicious as well a creamed spinach, Mac n cheese,and mushrooms. And if asked, I'd highly suggest you go all in for dessert and get the coconut cream pie/tart... it may be the best I've ever had. I dined with a beloved local, one who was such a usual suspect that staff who weren't even attending to us stopped to say hello. I suspect and can only hope that everyone gets the level of care and welcome I enjoyed.

The service at The Capital Grille was exemplary. The staff was attentive, knowledgeable, and eager to cater to any dietary restrictions or preferences. They provided detailed explanations of each dish and were more than happy to offer suggestions based on individual tastes.

I am speechless! I had my 6th wedding anniversary dinner at this wonderful place and it was just perfect thank you very much for going above and beyond to make this evening a very special one
