Cade's Home Cooking - Washington

Today I discovered Cade'sHome Cooking in the square in historic Washington, GA. If you want to eat home and enjoy friendly service, this is the place to be!!!! Look at her!

My parents talked about this place when I visited her for the vacation. We went before I left, and they had good reasons to talk. This family-run restaurant sits on the city square and makes it easy to locate (although I can imagine that parking can sometimes be difficult. Cade's serves great Southern classics such as roasted chicken and catfish with different widths and desserts that taste amazing. If you are in Washington, GA, Cade's is a place you need to try. Everything is delicious and people friendly.

My family and I ate here while driving through the city on holiday. Wonderful family atmosphere with many local food and milling. The food was AMAZING! The best I've had for years! Southern type house cooking properly made. Would recommend Absolutley and go back!

The best roasted chicken I've ever had! Everything was delicious the cream style corn, collar, squash casrole even the green beans were fantastic! I would definitely eat again here!

The food and the service was far and away the very best.., if I had one complaint, it would be that all the veggies (except the corn) we 're seasoned with pork. And of course being in the South you would expect that. So no real criticism, just a lot of love for Cade 's... So much so we brought a large order of Mac 'n cheese back to share at the Church 's pot luck dinner. It was well received.
