I had the Leek and Potato soup to start which was lovely, then Coq au vin for main. It was very nice, but i have had it before with stronger richer flavours. Staff were great, friendly and attentive. Thhe atmosphere was very pleasant for midweek. My partner was a bit disappointed with her Vegetarian main course, which was very overpriced for what it was. This was discussed with the waitress and a duscount applied. Price per person: £30–40

Brilliant pub in old Kenilworth over 500 years old and an amazing find. Excellent cask beer, lovely Prosecco and great prices and when we arrived we surprised to find a mini beer festival event. All the staff were lovely as were the very friendly locals who welcome both my fiancé and I but also my 5 year old whippet Paulo. Special thanks to Stephen for the cask beer service, his friendliness and absolutely 1st class approach to hospitality. Good luck with the Kitchen Fitting apprenticeship young man you will be a massive success. What a fantastic couple of hours we enjoyed. Cheers
