The Wild Boar - Warwick

I was looking forward to having a few drinks in this pub on Saturday night! I came in about 9.30pm after being up the town! Much to my surprise the bar staff was drinking behind the bar, a lady kept going behind the bar but she had had one too many and was very loud and all over her boyfriend at the end of the bar! Music was far too loud! Last orders was called but the friends of the bar staff were allowed to stay for a lock in! I will not be going here again! Need to sort out the staffs drinking Habits!!

We had booked the function room for a group event. The food arrived almost two hours after the booking time by which point we were all starving. There was not enough food. I was left with a scrap of leftover curry. Several people ended up filling up on plain white rice. The quality of the food for very poor for the price. Similar quality to a shop bought cheap microwave meal except we had paid restaurant prices! For drinks only the pub is fine. I had a very nice blueberry porter.

Only found this places because we had 50 minutes to spare before our train. Friendly pub, plenty of tables to spare on a Mon evening, friendly barman, great location just a few mins away from the station.

7 Germans and 8 Brits called in to start a 4 day Beer Tour of the Midlands. Excellent beer, great service and good food. Recommended for a visit.
