Emperors - Warwick

Arrived for our reservation at 7:30 but wasn’t until 8 that we got served just for drinks , meanwhile a group of four middle aged men were seated and served after us and we only got attention after catching someone’s eye. For reference we are a couple in our 20’s. It seemed like they were only concerned with serving big tables and older couples. What proved this was another couple around our age were seated and left after not being served for 20+ minutes. The food again was very slow whilst other tables who ordered after us were being given food quickly. We received our two starters 20 minutes apart and had to chase up the second dish, this again happened with the mains , by the time the sizzling beef had arrived it had zero sizzle and our rice was now cold. Overall probably the worst dining experience I’ve ever had in terms of service.

We had a lovely weekend lunch here. Not busy at lunch times which is not a problem at all. Food was really tasty and the restaurant team are lovely.

Can 't decide which was worse, the food or the service. You 'll get prawn crackers when you 've ordered food Peking duck dry and tasteless Forget this once amazing Chinese restaurant, there are better places to eat out in Leamington

I went to this restaurant with a group of colleagues from work last night for a work mates leaving do. Whilst the food was still good the service was shocking ! Well, well below it’s once fabulous standard. Shame on you Emporers, what on earth is going on ? I’ll certainly think twice before going back again. Sad

I wish we had read the reviews before we visited definately NOT what it was the ribs where very tough the Peking duck was dry and fairly tatseless the sweet and sour chicken was chewy the sinapore noodles where fairly tasteles and as others said the bill was NOT itemised and now realise we where overcharged by just 11% the Micehlin rating needs to be reviewed !!
