Restauracja Cafe Mozaika - Warszawa

The design of the place is nice, kind of stylish, with an open kitchen. Light is pleasant. The global atmosphere of the place is really good in my opinion. The problem is the food. Yes it is elegantly displayed, but for the most part it lacked flavor. I had the soup of the day, a beetroot soup with oignons and potatoes, and it was simply bland... Same for the blueberry-raspberry cake with cream. The dumplings with duck and rosemary lard were on the opposite kind of tasty in comparison. This is one dish I enjoyed, and that I would recommend. But keep in mind that you can have far better pierogis in other places, I know that for a fact : The waiting staff was just OK. Actually they forgot my order and I had to remind them after 40mn. But that was OK I was not in a hurry. I would give the restaurant another chance and maybe try their grilled meats, shrimps, or other style of dumplings. They have a good selection of wine I guess, but when I am more a beer kind of guy, so I had a classic pint of Carlsberg (9 zl .

Friendly service and cool atmosphere- a mix of old and new. Menu is also split up between the traditional menu and modern. Food off of both was delicious. Good wine selection as well.
