East Warrnambool Fish Shop

I hadn't visited this restaurant for five years because I had a terrible experience. However, I decided to give it another try today during a slow time. The owner was very kind and showed me the size of the fresh, not frozen fish and explained the cost of $2 for chips. I ordered two portions of flake and chips. The chips were delicious and crispy, and the fish was also very tasty. I will definitely be returning. I'm happy to see that the fish and chip shop, which I have not been visiting for around 30 years, is now in good hands.

Always get our fish chips at this place. The take-away deals are competitive and the fish is to die for...fresh tender.

The chips are average but damn that's some good fish!

Beautiful, fresh fish n chips as you’d expect. Generous amount of chips for the price but the size of the fish was a little mean but not a deal breaker. Quick service despite them being swamped on NYE.

Excellent fish and chips. And pineapple fritters. But ten times more salt on the chips than we like next time we will ask them to go easy on the salt!
