China Jade* - Warrenton

Use to be my go to for Chinese but not after today!! Takeout has always been slow but today I ordered online gave me a 30 minute estimate, I arrived at 45 minutes as they always need more time the restaurant was dead but had 2 couples waiting to pick up one who had called in an d the other who had just placed an order. When I arrived I was ignored for about 10 minutes until I had to stop the lady and give her my info, she came back and said not ready yet, another 10 minutes the couple that placed an order while I stood there got there order and left , I stopped the guy and asked again now over an hour... he comes back to inform me that they were just now cooking my dinner... I left, never again

I've been all over the country and have always located a great Chinese food restaurant where I'm living at the time, and these guys are my go-to favorites. Their food is always hot, they have a great selection, good delivery availability, and excellent prices. I recommend their spicy black bean chicken always. The only thing keeping it from 5-star for me is that a lot of times they don't bring hot mustard or utensils on delivery and that is a major problem, because I travel a lot around Warrenton. However, if you're eating in, I highly recommend this place!

Tonight we ordered take out: egg rolls, shrimp spring rolls, Double Cooked Pork Dragon and Phoenix Food was fresh and delicious!!! We’ve tried other places in and around Warrenton. China Jade has beat them all.

The outside needs a little sprucing up; we were apprehensive to try this place. The inside was fine, warm on a cold day, but dark inside. I think they were trying to save on the electricity bill. Good selection of lunch specials, which came with fried rice and an egg roll. We both ordered Sweet and Sour Chicken with hot tea to drink. The hot tea was good. The chicken was a bit tough, and the fried rice looked like it was slung on the plate in a hurry...kind of scattering off to the side. Fried rice had bits of carrot, pieces of peas, and onion in it. Egg roll was ok. Service was quick and efficient.

Wasn't sure what to think with the mixed reviews but this place was really good. We have tried other Chinese food places in the area and this one is the best one by far. We have to drive about 20 minutes to get here so we wanted to dine in. Service was good, food was great and came out quickly! Will definitely be eating here again in the future!
