Bidrage med feedbackWe had a long wait, but we didn't make a reservation so I won't complain too much. Once seated, we waited 1 1/2 hours for our food. The drinks were weak and the virgin margaritas were not good. The food didn't look appealing, with cold mashed potatoes and broken bacon. The broccoli was the best part. My red snapper was small, but the manager brought me another piece. The waitress was nice, but not attentive. The food was tasty, but not worth the price. It was disappointing for my birthday celebration. There was plenty of parking and wheelchair accessibility.
The restaurant offers an excellent variety of beer and wine selections. The service, particularly from Kara at the bar, was exceptional. The food was also very delicious, and I suggest trying the bourbon glaze on any dish, especially the grilled chicken. Plus, it's not a chain restaurant, which is a relief!
We made a reservation to celebrate a birthday at this restaurant. From the moment we arrived, everyone was extremely helpful. They kindly offered to store our cake in the fridge until we were ready to enjoy it. Our waitress, Savannah, was very kind and attentive. Some members of our party were dining here for the first time, and Savannah did a great job explaining and suggesting dishes for us to try.
Won’t be back. Was told by everyone we know locally that this place was really good. Maybe things have changed since they went. I wasn’t impressed. I ordered surf and turf. I’ve had a better steak at Applebees. We also waited an hour for our food. The place is pretty dirty too, dust everywhere. The waitress was sweet. I don’t get the attraction of over paying for sub par food and a sub par experience. I should have known when I was seated and had silverware wrapped up in a paper napkin with laminated menus that this wasn’t the type of place that everyone hyped it up to be.
Finally, I got to try The Pond, and let me tell you, I'm disappointed in myself for not getting in here sooner. They do take reservations, which are recommended. We didn't have one but only waited 30 minutes, which I didn't think was bad considering we got there around 6:30 pm on a Saturday. The atmosphere and aesthetic of the place are amazing. During our visit, there was a saxophone player who played a little of everything and kept everyone entertained. Our server was excellent, and the service was great.I had the Calamari for an appetizer, and it was good, but could have used a little more seasoning in the breading. My NY strip steak, however, was absolutely fantastic. It was perfectly cooked (medium), and the mushroom sauce was great. My wife had the Bourbon Salmon, and it was amazing. Now I will say that the food was expensive, but you get what you pay for: great food (from scratch as I was told) and great service. I would definitely recommend trying out The Pond but be prepared to spend a little, which I think is worth it.Vegetarian options: According to the menu, there are vegetarian options.Dietary restrictions: According to the menu, there are dishes that can be made gluten-free.
