Durie Hill Fish Shop - Wanganui

Read the reviews and have not been disappointed at all. It must be the freshest fish. The burger was fantastic, esp., all extras included. The fish was fresh and perfectly cooked. The chips were just as we like them on the outside golden and fluffy in. We recommend this shop to all who visit Whanganui. Thank you for a wonderful meal and fabulous, friendly service.

Certified fish and chips ordered here, instead of St John's hill, as we visit Whanganui. We were totally blown away, great fish, sausages and cheap like chips! Thank you.

After reading the reviews, we tried totally brilliant fish and chips. You need to sell tomato sauce to make it a complete experience. Go back there.

Although I gave 5 stars, the hot dog from the $20 pack-- with said that we don't miss it as there were additional fish.... delicious, very fresh fish. Extremely good value for 20 dollars, we have a few leftovers... Donuts were also pretty good. Edit: The menu has changed! See the new picture

Whole family enjoyed the food, was crispy and fresh. Didn't wait long despite being busy and was served with a smile.
