The Original Fish And Chips

The food was delicious and the service was very friendly. We stopped by for a quick takeaway dinner. I would recommend this place for a convenient and enjoyable meal.

I went there to grab a couple of bits of chicken and was given a free wing. I wasn't expecting the chicken to be that good! Tried to go back for more later but they had just closed.

Recently moved to the area so wanted to try the local fish and chip shop. I read the reviews but thought I 'd give it the benefit of the doubt. Unfortunately, it was a complete waste of money. The cod in particular was inedible chewy and watery (probably cooked from frozen). Neither of us could get past a couple of bites before it went in the bin. The chips were okay, but they are not traditional 'fish and chip shop ' style chips. Just oven chips. The only redeeming feature was the service, the lady was very nice. They should just rebrand as a late night kebab shop, it was the worst fish and chips I 've ever had.

The cod was decent, but the sausage in batter was very heavy. The chips were terrible - overcooked, dry, and tasteless. I do not recommend dining here, especially for £24.50. I expect better quality, particularly when it comes to the chips. This place is awful.

I was impressed that my food was cooked to order, ensuring it was fresh. The fish was sizable and the portion of chips was generous. Enjoying the view from the deck while chatting with friends added to the experience. I was pleased with the quality and variety of menu options. The service was friendly and the prices were reasonable.
