Grovedale Hotel - Wandana Heights

Absolutely brilliant restaurant. faster, friendly and fantastic service from all employees. eating was a good value for money, not pretentious, delicious and fill. these ribs were amazing! definitely recommend to come here.

Great place for chic pub food (in the dining room) or drinks and snacks in the garden bar. we were a few times, always had great food and service. the prices are somewhat high for a regular location, but the service corresponds to the price.

Last week I visited when I was in the opposite to visit family members who live close. we went to dinner when nobody felt like cooking. so we went to the hotel grovedale. I ordered a chicken parmagiana and it wasn't the best I ever had. chips were in order, the only nice ding on the teller was the bohnen and broccolini. my food companions ordered the roast of the day that was pork, they said it was nice. another ordered chicken carving with chips and gravy they said it was okay and the other ordered the nasi goreng, who said it was more beautiful, other paints, they were there and eaten it. the service was slow, there were not so many in the region bistro. drinks were cold, which was good. Here for lunch on the big final Friday not expected much so the steak went on the specials board. no ****, one of the best steaks I ever had from a pub that they actually cooked it medium rare it was tender and the chips were also good. my buddy had the curry and he said it was brilliant I tried it and was tenderly not big on curry, so it can not rate. yes they go with the latest reviews, because according to me kumpel, who lives locally they overtake the kitchen staff 3 months ago

Really wish I read the reviews before I went, the place looked very nice inside since it’s been done up and it has soo much potential to be amazing. I went with friends and we shared a tasting plate and also got our mains. The food was really average for the pricing and out of 4 of us no one really enjoyed their meals. The tasting plate had stuff like chips and calamari etc and it was honestly just a disappointment I don’t understand how you can mess up something so simple.
