Our touring deck brought us here because we wanted to eat something typical from Peru. And from God we did it. I'm not a vegetarian, I eat meat with meat, so this place was my restaurant. It is in an old house, but it has personality. I ordered a classic chicharron. But then I ordered extra onion salad. Chicharrone is pork cooked in an oil bath and served with Peruan corn and onion salad with mint leaves. GREAT! Do not forget to connect this with Cusquena, local beer. If you are in Cusco, you must try Chicharrone!!
My wife got sick after she had eaten here. A week later, she's still sick. The service was good. Do not eat the best ive taste, but the locals seemed to enjoy it. Crowded place certainly popular with locals.
Lo que suele pasar con los lugares de comidas en los lugares turísticos es que no se preocupan demasiado en la calidad de lo que sirven. La carne estaba muy dura, tuvimos que llevar a los niños a comer hamburgesas despues de salir de esta chicharroneria. Definitivamente el chicharrón es mejor en muchos lugares del Perú, maltratan nuestra comida.
Los trozos de carne son recalentados, duros e insípidos, y el maíz mote que acompaña el plato igual. y la atencion da mucho que desear no pienso volver ni aunque me lo inviten .
