Upper Crust - Waltham Forest

I often stop at this sandwich shop on my way to work. Sabihabe is always friendly and greets me with a smile. She remembers my usual order even if it's been a while since my last visit. The food at Upper Crust is always delicious and consistent. While it may be a bit on the expensive side, I understand that it's typical for a concession in the Waterloo concourse.

The main lady who works here is always super-friendly and helpful and always remembers me, even if it's been months since my last visit. Really nice. The sarnies are always reliably good-quality too!

Coffee was from a machine and tasted like metal. Baguette was like plastic. Worst £6 I've spent in a while. Expensive rubbish surely monopoly keeps them going...

Being a regular visitor to Upper Crust Kings Cross, I purchased a tuna salad baguette and a ham and cheese baguette for my husband and I to have on our train journey back home. To say we were disappointed with our baguettes would be an understatement. Both baguettes contained barely any filling but we were still charged £4.35 for each! Completely ripping customers off! Will never visit again!
