Not Your Average Joe's Waltham

Usually only have good experiences with NYAJ, but unfortunately this was not one of them. We sat immediately and waited for about 10 minutes on a server. Take our beverage orders and food order immediately and finally brought us bread. Unfortunately no one had brought records or cutlery and he did not notice. There was a good time to get his attention back and get everything. The food was good, but it remained under the heat lamps ready to be served too long, pasta good a little krusty and my daughters to dry meatballs. We are low maintenance guests, rarely ask for something extra, but the cheese my son had asked not arrived from the time he had ordered and we had to wait almost 10 minutes to get his attention and get the cheese (he put the food quickly and left before we could ask). I was all right by then, maybe had more tables than he should have, but when I had to wait 10 minutes to get his attention so we could get the check, I was a little upset. When the check arrived, it had a fee of $5.50 for a drink that should be included in my daughter's meal. Once again, try to get his attention. He noted that and fortunately they have the opportunity to pay with your phone so that we finally get out. We left without asking for the ice cream that is included with the children meals because everyone was tired at this point, not even complaining to the children. In the end, this is either at the location or at the server (or a combination). If he had many tables, the administration should not all. If he's just so vivid, he should find another working line.

Enjoyed our lunch. The food and service were very good. We will be back!

My work friends got together for lunch. Even though the game was on, it was easy to have a conversation. The food was excellent and orders were taken pretty quickly. We would definitely go there again.

We all found our entrees to be pretty average at Not your Average Joes . I had the tri tip. The meat was cut into large chunks and very chewy not very tender. My husband said the jambalaya was fine. His margarita was mostly a glass filled with ice. The bread before the meal was good and I liked the garlicky dipping sauce. It 's also nice that they offer gluten free bread and a good gluten free menu.

Host/hostess were rude about seating even though I had a reservation. Salad, fish and bread were of poor quality. Waiter was nice. Have been there before not going back.
