Domenic's Italian Bakery Deli - Waltham

I admit it's been a while since I've been to Domenic's, but always loved going there for lunch. The Panini Verde', and Caprese Pasta were my favorites. I couldn't get enough of their sun dried tomatoes and balsamic dressing on the Verde'! A family member brought some of the calzones on game-day, and they went rather quickly.

Best Pasta Fagioli!!! I also picked up some family size Chicken Parmesan and Eggplant Parmesan and it was delicious!

I love the arancini, it's the best. I live in Maine now but when I go back to Waltham it's always the first place I go.

We pick up lunch here often. Why go for fast food when you can have fresh homemade food from Italy! In the spring/summer, we sometimes eat on the tables out front, but most of the time it's takeout. Great variety, ALL fresh and homemade. Delicious bread and desserts too. We've also used them for catering (pickup). They also own Enzinos up the street. Delicious pizza and other foods.

I had the chicken parm with a side of rosemary and oil chips and wild berries soda. The chips and soda were the standout part of this meal. The chicken parm was okay, but lacked flavor. The ciabatta bread it was served on was soft and warm, which was great. The chicken, however, didn't taste like much. This place is small inside, though I did eat at the barstools they have facing the outside. You definitely couldn't bring a large group here, but it works for a small group or as takeout.
