Coal Creek Smokehouse Bbq - Walterhill

Dirty building, average at best food sold at quality prices. I've stopped ordering from them. The place used to be so much better.

Updated review: this place has gone to trash! Since the walkout back at Easter 2022 and new management, everything isn't the same. Food is tasteless, ribs overcooked, lots of fat. I just read an article where they barely passed health inspection and threw out 30lbs of meat.

Being a BBq place they didn't have most of what was on the menu. Whit I did get the burnt ends platter was not that great.

Best bbq in all of tennessee....and I grew up in Memphis. Try the three little pigs, and plan to share it! It's so good. And the sauces are amazing. Truly have never had one thing there wasn't amazing

We stopped by the Coal Creek Smokehouse for lunch on a trip through Tennessee this weekend. We were excited to try it based on the positive reviews. It didn’t meet our expectations. The restaurant is an old house that was converted. The outdoor eating area was very rustic. It wasn’t very clean and nobody seemed to be cleaning up when customers left. It took a long time to get the food. We had a table of four and they were bringing it out one or two meals at a time. The food was average.
