Big House Brew Pub - Walla Walla

Stopped by the Big House to catch a little MNF before going out to dinner...Great staff, superb cocktails, and tasty appetizers. Recommended for those wanting to wet their whistle. We heard they had great onion rings but they're no longer available. ?

Nice patio, and the inside was nice. Server was very friendly, but overall service was slow. I had the “it’s always sunny in walla walla” pale ale, it had a more subtle flavor, not my favorite but not bad. The steak sandwich special was not very good. While the steak itself tasted great, the cranberry chutney and feta crumble combination made for a “gamey” flavor I found unpleasant.I will give this place another try because it did have a nice atmosphere. I may have just made a couple wrong choices when ordering. It should be noted that everyone else around me seemed to be enjoying themselves.

Love the vibe of the menu and signage, very clever. Large outdoor seating area, dog -friendly. Beer selection was limited but tasty. Appetizers and entrees were all decent. Chicken salad was a bit peppery.

The Kolsch beer is wonderful. Since they didn't have any PILSNER or LAGERS...... Not a IPA, Pale Ale or wheat fan.

The pulled pork sandwich w/mango coleslaw was excellent, as was their Mayhem Margarita! (Caution: don’t plan on driving immediately after having their specialty margarita! Definitely recommend this place!!!
