The King's Arms - Wakefield

Just Thai on the Heath restaurant at the Kings Arms is the best Thai food I have eaten in years The food is very authentic, the tempura chicken was amazing the batter on the chicken was the best I have eaten, even the onion rings was cooked in the same batter, my wife and I was very impressed with every dish that we ate. the staff was great very attentive and gave you time to enjoy your food. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to try authentic Thai food. I cannot under stand why people are not queuing out of the door.

Brilliant meal with the family. The Thai food was absolutely delicious probably the best we've had since a visit to Malaysia, and beat other well respected Leeds venues hands down. Slight criticism was that it was very dark. Some might like the cosy feel but was too dark for my tastes, but I wouldn't let that put me off it didn't really affect the enjoyment of the evening I had.

Love this pub, we have visited several times and have never been disappointed with food or drinks. Sadly however I’m not a fan of Thai food. Miss the wholesome British pub grub

Top Thai food. Ate here last night and it was fantastic If anyone says they are small portions then I am not sure what constitutes a good portion for you. 4 hungry adults 4 very full adults Great service Great food Lovely flavours Had 4 mixed starters and then 4 individual dishes. All gorgeous Will be back

Visited Kings Arms to dine at the new Thai restaurant. The restaurant was excellent, good Thai food a large selection to choose from. The staff were great, helpful very friendly. Only a couple of small moans, the lighting is pretty dim, not good for the food photos. One young waitress who was very eager to offer advice on the menu didn’t seem to know much about the different meals, like I said the menu is quite large. The pub itself is as always a nice place to visit, decent selection of drinks good staff if a little stretched at times as it often is busy. Perhaps some of the regulars a little abrupt. I got the impression some thought it was their pub in their village and should be served first. Could be wrong they might not even live there but got the impression ! The Thai restaurant is great and I will return.
