Bidrage med feedbackLas time I visited here was last year to use the drive thru after ordering on the app. Once I pulled up to collect, I was told that I needed to go into the shop to collect as they didn't offer a drive thru collection for app orders. Bit of an inconvenience, but fair enough, even though the app allowed me to order this way. I went inside to collect and was then told that my order wasn't there and was sat waiting at another store around the corner in a busy shopping centre. This was a total ball-ache and I refused to use Costa again until today. Today I used the drive thru and didn't bother ordering thru the app, just at the window to minimise the chance of error. There really is no way of getting around the poor service and lack of products at Costa. All the new seasonal drinks were unavailable and the standard drinks were only available up to medium size. So, I ended up placing an order for something I didn't really want and waited in line for a good 20 mins in total. Eventually got to the collection point and the server asked me for my order again because they didn't take it down the first time. I gave her the order again and low and behold now even basic drinks were unavailable so we just had to leave as I was pretty fed up at this point. I will not use Costa again, poor service, lack of availability and general all round waste of time. I made my own 2 coffees at home instead and saved myself £8.
I had to wait 20 minutes just to order a fruit cooler at this restaurant. There was no apology for the delay, and the place was dirty with tables covered in used cups and plates. A woman had to clear off the mess just so she could sit down with her baby. Another customer got fed up with waiting and left. Surprisingly, a bacon bun was reheated faster than a cup of tea for takeout.
I visited this Costa at around midday on (01/09/2022) as I was driving past, hungry and needed to set up somewhere for an online work meeting I had I opted for the dine in instead of drive through due to this. I am a big fan of Costa and know their standards and I can genuinely say that this visit exceeded any service I have had before. I was served by two young lads on the front counter (which was nice as most Costas have only women) and they were lovely. They had a conversation, asked how my day was, were fast and we even shared a laugh. Currently, I am using walking aids and they recognised this, told me to take a seat and they brought it over when it was ready. Around 5 minutes after I received my order, one of the same lads asked me if everything was okay which I have never had before in a Costa. An hour later and after my work meeting, the other young man saw me standing up proceeded to take my tray and even walked to the door and held it open for me. Couldn't have had better service, I wish I had caught their names. I just want to say thank you and I hope you both get recognition for your amazing attitudes!
Visited yesterday with family. There were flies crawling all over the cake brownie selection. I pointed this out to the guy serving who said he’d have them swapped he didn’t! Behind the counter near the drive through hatch was disgusting. Bin bags everywhere full of rubbish, empty cups and lids on the floor. None of the tables were cleared for new customers to sit down. Won’t be returning
I like the Ruby drink but sometimes it doesn't right and friend had a fudge one and she said didn't taste like fudge.
