Corroboree Park Tavern - WAK WAK

The bacon and egg rolls were delicious, but the coffee was disappointing. The restaurant should consider upgrading their coffee beans for a better flavor.

I love going back to visit my old mates Fred the freshwater crocodile and old Brutus who are residents of the Corroboree Park Tavern. I think it’s just an amazing experience! The staff are so welcoming, the drink prices are amazing and you get to see Crocs, buffalo, turtles and an old pig with disturbingly large balls.

This is by far our most favourise place and not far from home. The staff are always terrific and the food is yummy. Great place as a base to travel out and about amongst the many tracks

After a long day trip from Darwin to Kakadu, we found ourselves back in Darwin around 8pm feeling dirty and in need of a shower. Not wanting to go out for a meal, we made a stop at this place around 6:45pm. Feeling inspired, we asked if they had anything we could take back to eat in our room. To our delight, they had a selection of excellent wraps to go. Problem solved. Also worth mentioning is that the restrooms were clean.

Whipped into this pub after going to Fogg Dam, which is on Arnhem Hwy, 15 minutes north of Mary River. Had a cold Vic Bitter schooner and it was beautiful. The bar was relaxing and a real out back feel to it. Outside was a guy singing which sounded good. There was one local guy there who had a laugh like a sheep bleating (bahhhhhh) who made our afternoon drink enjoyable and funny just by eavesdropping on him. All service staff served us with a smile and it just was nice. The pub also has food to eat on the other side of the bar and touristy stuff and pokies in there believe it or not. Would definitely drop in for a quick drink just for the sake of it if i ever come back this way
