Coffee Hq - Waiouru

Just a lovely, lovely coffee stop. Has been operating for about 6.5 years (as at Dec 2024) and the barista is just full of smiles and positivity. She was really lovely. Coffee was good: robust but velvety latte for me, and she had ice for and iced black coffee. Good range of other drinks and snack items.

Great coffee form a lovely lady who knows her stuff. Keeping travelers awake is a vital public service!

I had always thought that the only coffee options in Taihape were on the main road, and had no particular expectations when I found Coffee HQ next to the toilets ... but it was the best coffee I've bought in a while. Offers the full range of coffee options, I was very happy to find somewhere that makes a piccolo. Will definitely return.

Service was lovely and the coffee was genuinely one of the best I've had in NZ. Will absolutely be visiting again next time we pass through.

Great coffee, great location, great service by a bona fide local gal from mighty Mangaweka! Also got her homemade whole seed mustard which is spectacular in the pork sandwiches we made for lunch. Thank you!
