Levain Bakery – Wainscott, New York

I’m a regular degular here, love the friendly staff however this location seems to overbake their cookies significantly more than the NYC locations, still delicious but darker bottoms/insides that could go a min or two shorter in the oven

Levain Bakery in Wainscott should be on everyone's to-do list when anywhere close to the area. Perfection! Especially anything fresh out of the oven and still warm. Chocolate Chip Walnut cookies and scones top a very crowded list of exceptional baked goods.

The best cookies around! Always consistently good and feels like a real treat. The walnut chocolate chip one is excellent

Best cookies, Ever. You should probably split one, as they are massive. If you are lucky and get them when they are slightly warm.... seriously good! Choc Walnut is my fav. Never hold the cookie long enough for a photo. sorry

So the famous chocolate chip cookies with and without walnuts are of course fantastic! We also think their pizzette options are delicious. Why not five stars? Because the breads and other options are only OK they look nice, but don't have the taste and texture of really excellent bread. But if you order correctly, it's great!
