Bidrage med feedbackThis was a visit to Wagga and we were in the neighboring RSL motel with direct access to the RSL and the Pearl Restaurant. We had a pleasant meal that was fresh and tasty in terms of the size of the meal. Would make a booking because it was very busy.
We've been to Pearl many times, but we'll find a new Chinese restaurant, I think. We booked a table and when we arrived, the owner told us to come back in 45 minutes as he was still occupied. Why worry if... They won't honor them. Only 3 weeks before we just finished our meals when they had cleared the table and asked us to go as they had booked another party. A little consistency would be good! The prices of the food go further and the portion sizes go down. A large cooked rice sets you back $11 and a special roasted rice is $14.80. Sometimes it's loaded with goodies and the next time it's all but special The last straw was overloaded by $20, last time that we dined there (the girl looked very economical when I also pointed out that Pearl has very greedy and her service leaves much to wish. Go somewhere else!
When the Brattaube came out, the cook had cut it with a cracker into strips that scattered bone fragments and cartilage through the meal. I spent more time splashing out sharp bits and with my fingers in my mouth as actually enjoying my... meal. The bits were also in the sauce, and so they also ended in my supplement. When I asked, the older woman behind the counter treated me like an idiot because I didn't predict that the meal was like that. You order the fried duck, not without bones. Right. And if it was served, I would have cut off delicious, sweet meat. Not barnyard finger food. A real way to a first experience
Some of the best Chinese we had for a while in a club, garlic prawns, sizzling fillet steak, satay spits, special fried rice, hot fresh, chic as, great served.
My friends and I went to this restaurant for dinner without a reservation. The staff was attentive and friendly. We were served promptly and our meals were large and incredibly tasty! If we had been staying in Wagga Wagga for longer, we would have definitely returned for another dinner. The only downside is that the bar is separate from the restaurant (managed by the club), so you have to pay for drinks separately as you order them, rather than paying at the end of the meal.
