Cajun Craft - Waco

I wanted to try a new place for lunch today with my husband, since it was my birthday. I've known about this place for a while, but just haven't been there yet. Holy Cow! It was fantastic! My husband had the catfish basket I had the oyster po-boy with Cajun fries! The sandwich was huge, and the flavors were awesome. I tried a piece of his catfish and told him that we were coming back for birthday dinner! Lol! We DID return for dinner, with our teenage daughter in tow! She and I both ordered the beef pho, since it's one of our most favorite things to eat ever! They could corner the market in Waco with that stuff!!! The hubby ordered the chicken tender basket a piece of catfish. Definitely a place we will be going back to! The atmosphere was great on the outdoor patio area too! Very relaxing and attractive! Great job Cajun Craft!!

If I could put more stars I would. I love Cajun food and have been really missing a good bowl of gumbo and not only was the gumbo good...it was amazing. I got the sampler that had gumbo, jambalaya, and the crawfish étouffée (which was a lot of food and AMAZING). Also we really enjoyed that the owner of the place was not only very helpful but extremely nice. We really enjoyed that she stopped by our table and talked to us about how she started the business and her love for her business. If you haven’t gone you are truly missing out on one of the best restaurants in Waco! We can’t wait to go back!!

We had the Pho (beef chicken), boudin balls, and fresh oysters on the half shell. All of the food was AMAZING!!! Perfect flavor and cooked perfectly! We highly recommend this gem in Waco!

We had fried shrimp and catfish, red beans and rice, gumbo, fried pickles, chicken tenders, and beignets. OMG they are all amazing. What a hidden gem !! So good. Please go here. They were out of étouffée (get there early) so we couldn’t get the poutine fries but I bet they are amazing.

Cajun Craft was delicious. The atmosphere is cool with a homey feel and outside seating, there was good music playing that wasn't so loud that you could not have a conversation, and the food is great and inexpensive. This is a must. I will definitely going back. I got the boudin balls and jambalaya, and they were both excellent.
