Can be a fun place to party and drink for sure. However, the food is remarkably bland. Definitely overpriced for some meals. Shrimp tacos $14) were boiled shrimp completely unseasoned), cabbage, onion, and a small drizzle of creme sauce. Avocado was forgotten. Served with small cup of rice pilaf unique choice). Many dishes are similar to this across the board. Seasoning and flavor should be a priority for all dishes along with consistent quality control. Seasoning the shrimp, and serving with chips/salsa would be a minor but far superior upgrade. In short, stick to boozing at this place. I've tried to give the food a chance but consistently underwhelms.

The atmosphere at Pioneer made you feel so at home and welcoming. The staff so friendly! Lito, our waiter and bar tender (name I think), was top notch!!! Went there for dinner a couple sundays ago and it was pretty empty but I was surprised because the food was amazing, I ordered a burger witch I do almost anywhere I go as I am a burger man and love to compare burgers and I must say it was delicious, it was cooked just right. Service was great, our waitress was very attentive and kind, we were actually pleasantly pleased with the price as well.
