Bidrage med feedbackIf you are in the mood for some sloppy burgers, fat fries and sticky milkshakes, Triple XXX is the most famous place around this side of Indiana. They have been here since the 1930s and still have an old school drive. I enjoyed all the food here, from breakfast to the burgers. You have some interesting combinations of typical things like a burger with Gravy and Jalapenos on it. Portion sizes are not quite satisfying what actually goes with the 1950s theme that can be good or bad, depending on who you are. If you are hungry, you might want to add a few pages and a malt. Unfortunately, this place is often extremely crowded and loud, given its international fame by a TV feature.
This place was cool! Found it in a search of best places to eat in Lafayette. Absolutely true! Definitely a staple of Americana. Triple D filmed a spot here as well. The food was delicious? I would highly recommend the Drew Brees. The staff was fun to talk to and you won't leave the place disappointed!
Great place that 's rightfully famous at Purdue. It 's usually quite busy (which is a good sign! , but with a group of 3-5 people you 'll be seated in no time and have quick, attentive counter service. Outdoor, sheltered seating is also available if you have a bigger group. The new Hey Jay burger (pictured is perfect, but if that 's not your style there 's something for everyone here. If you 're lucky enough to have Brooke as your waitress, you 'll have a great experience.
A down rite down home authentic American drive in good burgers and even delicious root beer. The place is typically very busy so there is usually a wait but don't fret in my opinion it's well worth it. I say do yourself a favor and head on over to Triple xxx you going like it
Saw this place on the Food Channel a few years ago and finally got the chance to stop in. Was smaller than I expected, seating wise. However, it's definitely a place to check out if you are in the area. Great food and service. Our server was in ROTC so we had a great conversation about life in the military (I served 11 years) and the affects on personal relationship. Root beer and burgers were on point. Would definitely stop in again.
