Il Giardinetto - VOLTERRA

We decided to have a very early dinner before driving back to our accommodation, so stoped here for the gnocchi with pesto and a veggie risotto, both delicious.

We had dinner at this restaurant. We had delicious pasta and wine. The service was quick and helpful

This was our first mistake in Italy. I have been eating so good the last week, but this restaurant failed big time. First of all when we ordered a bottle of wine, they didn't even let us try the bottle (also the same with our neighbors). I know why, because the wine was bad... the food had nothing special, my chicken was bone dry... and it appeared that we had to pay to sit outside (apparently common in Italy, but I don't like it). The only reason I don't give 1 star is that the kids liked the pizza margarita...

We have visited Volterra many times and always struggled to find a good restaurant but here was great. It was recommended by a family who stayed in same holiday complex.My daughter had the pasta with garlic and chilli oil and it was great. Pizzas also worth trying. plenty of sitting on the terrace. I would definitely go back

We had some good pizza’s here. Not the best but oké for a good price. Service is kind. Toilet is a handicap toilet. So perfect for us
