WARNING: This hotel DOES NOT have sea views. Also owner has decided to branch out into the Travel Agent business and decides on your behalf to book you into other locations around the city, guess I’m lucky the box-headed owner didn’t book me in Saudi Arabia or Australia, #thankful. They use this location as a honey pot to book you into another hotels on the city side. You only get views over the city and harbor. This is dishonest and very disappointing. We tried to fix what we thought was an honest mistake straight away only to find out we had been conned by the owner. So disappointed in this money first attitude that is cashing in on the reputable brand that makes the Netherlands such an amazing place visit. Buyer be warned, however places like this are very very rare in the Netherlands. Please see my photos for your real “sea view”. To the owner: While you were sitting at the back of the class during geography you missed the bit about which side of your wonderful country the sea is on. Hint: it’s in the opposite direction to where you think it is, #gladtobeofhelp, #geography101

“WARNING: This hotel DOES NOT have sea views.. “ yes I totally agree with the person who reviewed before me. You can be sent to a different location which looks like an abandoned hotel and we were so surprised. The room was ok but the owner should invest a little bit of money on this abandoned hotel to make it look like it’s a part of “Belgische Loodsensociëteit”. and also soundproofing required!

We stayed 7 nights in this hotel. We got a room in the building behind the actual hotel. The room offered view to the harbor and also to the ocean. Down on the street there are several bars and restaurants. So especially on the weekend (summer) nights it can be noisy until late. The room was quite spacious but also very simple decorated. The bed was very good, aircon was working and everything was clean and tidy. It seems like this is a hotel which is suitable for a weekend or overnight stay. But not necessarily living there for a week. We booked the breakfast once and were extremely disappointed with the selection of food, the taste of the coffee and everything else related to this service. The internet connection (Wi-Fi) was slow and most of the time not working. We appreciate the hotel allows dogs and the staff is very friendly and patient.

We went for the special Mussel menu. They where very good quality this year. Good service and the coffee afterwards was served with chocolate beans and a little peace of homemade cake. I would certainly recommend a visit.

Super nice restaurant and hotel with a great view. The owners are nice and the employees are helpful. Totally will go there again next time!!
