Bidrage med feedbackWe started going to Rustic Blue when it first opened. I easily spend one to two hours there browsing the large selection of locally sourced and Australian products. The artwork is fantastic, the gift range is extensive, unique, and appealing. The added bonus of a health retreat and cafe make the visit even better. The staff, carefully chosen by Coralie and David, are professional and friendly, making the experience enjoyable for customers. I always stock up on gifts for the year ahead, while my husband approaches each visit with caution. For me, Rustic Blue is the best business on KI, where I can lose myself in its charm.
The atmosphere was lovely, but the prices were too high. A pair of earrings cost over 20 dollars. The food selection was limited to just cakes and ice cream. The staff was friendly, but I do not plan on going back.
From the moment I turned into the driveway and spotted an echidna snuffling along in the paddock, I knew that I was in for a treat! The Gallery Building is as the name suggests, Rustic, with many textures, art works and tastefully presented handmade treasures to gaze upon. If it is unusual gifts or indeed something special for yourself, this is the place to pick some up. Leather bags, unique silver jewellery, original artwork, clothing and much more are on offer here. If motorcycles are your life, you are in for a treat. Coralie and Smiley are Harley aficionados, and they will share stories of their travels and advise you of the better rides and time of the day for a safe ride around this beautiful Island.Going to the outdoor dunny was amazing, the building that houses it is tres' rustic chic' glam! The coffee, tea, beverages and cakes are a treat to enjoy in the outdoor setting while soaking up this relaxing and memorable environment
This is a real little gem found on the way to the National Park coming from Kingscote.Smiley and his wife have done a great job here. Lovely setting, good food and fantastic artwork. They started this place from scratch and have done a wonderful job a real credit to them. So sit in the garden and enjoy the peace and quiet. Oh yes don't forget the toilets! Stone wall is superb!
We were tired, thirsty and needed a snack. We'd been driving for what seemed like forever when we stumbled upon Rustic Blue. Even though they were about to close, they took us in, fed us wonderful cakes and tea, let us relax in their lovely garden and showed us a bit about their interesting history before sending us on our way. Hospitality, friendliness, at its best. A great little local craft shop too.
