Rubio's Coastal Grill - Vista

Even though it’s a chain, the food is nice and fresh. I just get the steak tacos with rice and beans. Makes for a fresh, easy, and a great meal. Not too expensive so you can come with an appetite lol the steak is always fresh tasting and cooked usually medium. Not like some places where the steak is dried and hard! The place was clean, I feel like someone was always wiping a table down or taking the trash out. The staff is friendly and patient. They don’t rush you and offer great suggestions on what to eat. It’s definitely a good spot to go for a quick and filling meal!

We try to stay away from 'fast food ' but the quality of Rubios allows us to indulge. The gourmet chicken and steak tacos are my hands-down favorite. Their black beans make for a healthy side dish. Their salsas are not my favorite, but the quality of the ingredients in the entrees are tasty enough so as not to really need embellishment anyway.

Rubio's is the definition of fast, casual dining. The food is good for the price you pay but what always makes me come to this one is the level of service you receive. Their patience and word choice are amazing. I have been in some long lines at this restaurant but watched the servers treat each person with consideration and kindness despite some ridiculous requests. I also enjoy their California burrito.

It’s your quintessential go-to spot for a quick (fast-food healthy) meal. In this case, it was just some tasty tacos. The place is clean and spacious. They also have a nice shaded patio with a view of the Sycamore road and the shopping center. I appreciated the cleanliness of their gender-neutral bathrooms and their service was friendly and efficient. Rubios is reasonably reliable and their food is consistently good, with a price range that won’t break your bank.
