Flavor Chef Catering - Vista

Flavor Chef was the best vendor we hired for our wedding! We were so fortunate to work with Madison and Crystal for our 80 person wedding in Indio this spring. The Flavor Chef team was patient with our questions leading up to the event walking us through the pros and cons of different serving styles, providing quotes and responses in a timely manner, being clear about what assets they provided vs. what we would need to order from our rental company, and being flexible on altering the menu to accommodate vegan guests. Madison and Crystal even drove up to visit the venue ahead of time with us to ensure that the kitchen space would be sufficient for their needs. And this is all before I mention the food, which was EXCELLENT! The appetizers were outstanding highly recommend the lamb lollipops, chicken and waffle bites, and ahi poke nachos. For dinner we offered the chicken, salmon, and the vegan eggplant parmesan, and they were all very tasty! The servers and chefs were friendly and helpful, and the whole event ran smoothly without incident. I highly recommend Flavor Chef Catering!

I wish I could give more than five stars. From first contact to events end, the most courteous, professional, hard-working, problem solving group of individuals. Bonus, the food was amazingly delicious. My event was an outdoor party with a live 6 member band. Then came the atmospheric rivers! This team was able to pull this challenge off without a single glitch. So many guests commented on not just how delicious everything tasted but also how kind and accommodating the team treated them from the chefs, bartender, to the servers and beyond. Flavor Chef will forever be my first choice for all my catering needs. Thank you, Madison, for pulling off an extraordinary event!!

Derek is super! The coordination was very easy. He helped us with our wedding serving around 100 people. He arrived on time, helped with the table settings, serving the food, even our cake. The food was great too. Received a lot of compliments from our guests. Would definitely recommend them!

Flavor Chef did an outstanding job catering an afternoon cocktail party we hosted at our home last weekend. From the quality and uniqueness of the appetizers (including a full service oyster bar) to the professionalism of the staff and their willingness to go above and beyond, I can't say enough about Derek and his team. They were highly competent, well prepared and overall a pleasure to have at our event. We will definitely be working with Derek again for our next catered affair!
