We were in this restaurant several times and were never disappointed, always excellent quality of seafood and fish. Plus friendly and competent service. The place can get very busy and then a little noisy.

Great ameijoas à bolhão pato , and everything!!!! It is like eating by the sea.... The staff is nice, but not everyone. Nice place to go with friends Note: why so many tv on this place, and why all of them on?????

Repeat visit. Classic large fish restaurant which has been in existence for a long time. High quality fish and seafood dishes which are well prepared and well presented. Meat dishes available also. Salmon or Corvina with Salsa verde is very good indeed. House wine at reasonable prices. Friendly and attentive staff.

We had read the reviews and were really thrilled to find that this is an amazing restaurant which was jam packed full of locals always a good sign! It does not look promising from the outside but believe me you should go in. The food was excellent. Despite the concentration on fish and seafood the four of us enjoyed meat dishes chicken, pork and a steak. All were excellent. The house wine was really good too. As was the service. Excellent.

One thing that beats most of other Portuguese restaurants is how quickly the server brings the food to the table. Fish was good. We ate there on two consecutive Mondays which is not he best day for fresh seafood. Yet, they managed to serve very good food along with one of the best tomato rices that I have ever had. The house (local) Dao wine was great, specifically from Penalva do Castelo wineries. One detail that I would improve is the way the sever interacts with the customers. While it may be acceptable in Portugal, the way the server talks to customers may sound rude for people from other countries. Nevertheless, she was very efficient.
