Mizuno Japanese - Virginia Beach

Very pleasant ambiance but not worth the expense nor the exceedingly long prep-time for the appearance of freshly-made sushi. Ingredients were assembled to order but were stale; especially the rice and the seared tuna. The tuna was, indeed, seared but not in proximity to being served. The rice was cold and dry. Regrettably, this restaurant does not deserve a second visit.

Staff the place appropriately so the bartender doesn’t leave the bar for 20min to wait on tables. If Walter actually walked through the front of the restaurant he’d be mortified. Service is terrible because it’s staffed at 50%. If there were other decent options people would go there in a stampede

It’s the best Sushi restaurant in Virginia Beach. Many qualifications. We are more than satisfied .
