Mannino's - Virginia Beach

If I could give this place less, I would. So, it wasn't the fact that they are slow and whoever cooked the calamari don't know to dry seafood before breading it so the breader won't come off, it was the blatant racism. Well, we asked to be seated at the bar so we could watch the football game. 2 minutes before game time, a couple of white guys came in demanding to have the TV put on baseball or they wasn't going to stay. One of the best Italian meals we've had (and I am part Italian). Service a little slow, but with staffing issues that is expected. Every single entree we had was very good. I had the spicy four cheese ravioli and a local beer. Recommend this for anyone visiting Virginia Beach or Hampton Roads.

We visited Mannino’s on a recent trip to Virginia Beach. It was one of the restaurants our hotel recommended. There were many Italian restaurants and we were not necessarily looking for that, but we went because we didn’t k on where else to go. What a pleasant surprise. It’s an award winning restaurant, and exceeded all expectations. It was fresh, handmade and authentic. You do need a reservation, but we made ours the day before and were able to go while on our trip.

Food is wonderful. Unfortunately, the inch-long fake fingernails flaunted by our young waiter were entirely off-putting limited his serving abilities.

Amazing spot with excellent service and spectacular flavor. Crabtini is out of this world delicious. Penne a la vodka was the best I’ve ever had!! Liz was wonderful! Thank you! 10/10 recommend.
