Hemingway's Restaurant Bar Pilar

Charming restaurant inside the Holiday Inn hotel. Who knew it would be such a good experience! Even though short staffed (who isn't these days? , our food was hot and delicious, and service with a smile. Some nice menu items for breakfast and dinner, all tried and true. Outdoor seating right by the ocean. Lovely!

Hemingway is a great spot for breakfast lunch and dinner! Billy is a phenomenal bartender and food recommender! He?s so friendly, and knows how to make sure the customers are happy. Billy also makes you feel like family. ????

The breakfast was amazingly good. The staff came to our table frequently to ensure there was nothing we needed. There were options for kids and adults alike. Everyone wore masks which I really appreciated. I simply had no complaints.

Hemingway's is awesome!! We found it by accident and ended up eating there for lunch and dinner in the same day. Staff is awesome, especially Billy the bartender and Lucky (yes, that's his real name), food and drinks were great and prices were very reasonable. The restaurant is beautiful. Next time we get to Virginia Beach, Hemingway's is the 1st place we will go.

Awful experience! We started with drink. My wife got a specialty cocktail and really enjoyed it. I was not as fortunate as a standard beam and coke was incorrect. I am not sure if it is given to me on the rocks or water was added. It took at least 15 minutes to get two cocktails. Food took almost an hour to receive when we were literally the only people there. Others came in after us and received there food before us. When our food arrived, most of it was cold and missing
