Wurtsboro Diner And Cafe

Came for breakfast with my wife after ordering take out for lunch the previous day. While our take out was good and decently priced, sitting down for breakfast was a mistake. The waitress didn?t great us and simply asked what we wanted to drink and eat as soon as she came up. The omelet my wife ordered was good but my eggs Benedict was way over cooked and the sauce had no taste. Waitress didn?t come and check on us after our food came out and didn?t offer refills. When she came back to give us our check I told her about my food being wrong and she just told me she would take it off the bill which was good, but didn?t even give me a chance to order something else, so I left hungry. Service was very bad from our waitress. Good food except for the one dish.

Got my table set down 20 minutes no one acknowledged those the waitress put a dish on our table for the table next to us saying I hope you don't mind if I places here but she never even came back to take her order or to say I'll be right with you horrible horrible service the owner should be aware you're going to lose a lot of customers I went to Danny's great service good food

Second time at this diner but first time ordering lunch. It was awesome. I ordered the original gyro with a side of Mac salad, while wife ordered a bacon cheeseburger with a side if fries. Both meals were great. The mac salad was easily one of the best we've tried. I usually use the gyro as a marker for a good Greek diner and this one hit all the marks. I especially liked the addition of cucumbers. My wife's marker of a good diner is the burger, which she sais was great. It looked nice and juicy greasy just like a diner burger should be. Not only that but it was a nice size too, unlike another local diner that charges the same price but gives you a tiny burger. The two meals and two sodas was $28 with tax, which was an outstanding value. The place is always busy and looks like a lot of locals eat here. Another good sign.

We arrived for breakfast just as they opened. Breakfast was made fast and tasted good. I accidentally knocked over the coffee and as we were cleaning it up the waitress came over to help. It didn't bother her at all and she was very understanding.

Really nice diner in a quaint little town. The food is really good but the true beauty is the friendly, cheerful staff. Breakfast here is a great start to the day
