Bidrage med feedbackGood food but everytime I go in there nobody has their mask on..
I discovered this place while intending to go to KFC for a pot pie. The lobby was closed and the drive-up line was out to the street, so I pulled into the parking lot behind it to turn around. There I discovered Tuscan Oven! I come here sometimes forlunch even though it is a drive from downtown Albany, during the pandemic so many places are closed and I tire of the optionsaround the Capital Building. They have a good variety of pizza here, at lunchtime there are several premade slice pizzavarieties, and they also make good subs. I haven't ever gotten a dessert here but they have interesting selections, and a widevariety of beverages as well. They also have more than Italian food. I have been considering trying the gyros or cheesesteaks.Haven't had them yet, but I can vouch for what I have had here.
From out of town, stopped by only because it was near...had the garlic knots and meat lover's pizza. Both were hot and VERY GOOD! Thank you!
Very busy pizza place in Menands so you know it's good! A consistent and good pizza place, very well run. Lots of specials and great menu.
First of all, this seems like a good place. I ordered a calzone for take out, and it was very tasty. If I was writing a review based ONLY on the food, it would get four stars from me. That said, it’s not just about the food, it’s about the service, and that’s why I cannot recommend this place. Story: I put in a takeout order. They had two locations listed, one at 377 Broadway, and one at 100 Broadway. I put in an order and went to 377 (mainly because it was closer to my office). I became suspicious because when I arrived, the name on the building at 377 did not match what I expected. Sure enough, it was the wrong location. I spend ten minutes walking around trying to find this place. No dice. On a whim, I got in my car and tried the other address, which turned out to be the right one. I tried to explain to (I assume he was) the owner that he has bad information online (disclosure: I am a communications professional). People (myself included) were going to the wrong address. He kept insisting (and we practically got into a fight about this) that it was no problem because that was an old location of theirs, and he even printed out a receipt with the old 377 address on it to “prove” to me it was okay. He could NOT grasp the concept that because he had the wrong address listed, people were going to the wrong place!!! I argued with him for ten minutes, but it seemed like he was incapable of grasping the concept that his old address was still listed, sending people to a bad address, and angering customers — myself included (to the point that I am writing this review)!!! As I said, it seems like a good place and good food, so I’m willing to give them another chance, but I really hope he’s reading this and comprehending what I am trying to tell him, because if he doesn’t fix it, he WILL lose customers who won’t be as forgiving as I am.
