Red Salt Room By David Burke

First time in Red Salt Room and I was very impressed with the quality of service and food. I'd definitely recommend. Surf and Turf filet was fabulous; the lobster was ok and had a nice sauce in it I should have asked for more sauce on the side because it was a little dry. But overall it was a great experience.

We enjoyed a very nice dinner on our most recent visit to the RSR. Thank you Mary and Jose Luis. We'd also like to thank the manager Mike. He's always nearby and does not hesitate to resolve any issue that may arise. It's appreciated. Looking forward to our next visit. Thank you RSR.

It was very loud and they charge $9.00 for a bread basket which they call their bread service ! The Halibut I had was very good. It 's very obvious they try to be trendy...which is a negative in my eyes. All in all, I would go back.

Very nice evening. The dining room decor has undergone some changes and those changes definitely work. In our opinion, the new table lighting, table coverings and linens all help to make the ambience just a little more sophisticated. Nicely done. Our dinners were also nicely done. I had the Lobster Tagliatelle. It was delicious. My wife enjoyed the Spring Pea Risotto with Crab. The wine we chose was a Jean-Marc Brocard Chablis. Very nice. We definitely have to thank our server Mary along with head busser Jose Luis. Great service. Thanks also to the runner Edward for making sure each course arrived at our table exactly at the right time. Thank you RSR.

The venue looks great and service is solid. The food and value left a lot to be desired. The steak was not great. Cooked well but lacked flavor like Peter Lugers or Bryant Cooper Steakhouse. The cacio e Pepe pasta was not as advertised as it lacked the cacio e Pepe flavor and preparation and was more similar to the risotto on the menu. The Foie Gras was delightful and well prepared. The Ocean plate was a solid value. For $60 dishes, the main dishes failed to impress. I would not go here for steak again as it was very subpar. Very over priced for lackluster dishes. Despite the shortcomings, we had an enjoyable Mother's Day here.
