Bidrage med feedbackFood was okay. Maybe .25 ounce of goat cheese on special salad. Pizza had quality cheese and the crust was good. The staff was the main disappointment...really terrible service. We asked to sit at a bench table and the response was, I haven 't cleaned it! , and then acted incredulous and put out she had to do her job. As inattentive and inexperienced as the come. With all tables but 3 ending their evenings, it took 90 minutes to go through a salad and a Neapolitan pizza. The pizza takes 8 minutes to cook. We had to get out of our seats 3x to ask for wine, where our pizza was and finally for the bill. Overheard waitress speaking to her boyfriend about how impatient our table was. So on top of no etiquette, training or general decency, and no management in sight checking on service, I would steer clear. Yick.
Incredible quality. Always have an enjoyable time. We go there regularly and are so happy to have a place like this in town! Also, very grateful that they have continued the outdoor seating with the tent and heaters in the winter for those of us that bare the cold and are covid-cautious.
Delicious Italian food and wonderfully attentive service! The lobster bisque with fresh bread and the Eggplant parm are delicious!!Nice wine selection, too.
I am not fond of giving negative reviews it saddens me to do it just trying to spare the next visitor a similar disappointment hope your experience is better! The restaurant is attractive but dinner was a disappointment. The calamari appetizer featured miniature calamari my son who never eats calamari mistook it for chips and nibbled. When a hungry 5 year old who loves pizza dislikes the pizza what more can I add in that regard? Too much not delicious cheese and not enough tomato. The ossobuco was a over-salted stew not the veal shank it's supposed to be, see photo the eggplant parmigiana lots of cheese with no discernible tomato accompanied by a salad consisting exclusively of a bed of baby arugula splashed with I believe vinegar and salt. Someone in the kitchen is very very fond of salt, I am less enamored of it. My glass of Pinot Noir was delicious.
Family had eaten here in summer and thought service and atmosphere great but food only mediocre. Visited today for great lunch. Pizza was excellent with great crust. Just moved here from CT and finally found a good pizza. Friendly service, warm atmosphere. App of calamari could have been a little less done but saw other diners with well prepared, larger calamari. Bar looks like a friendly spot to hang with friend. Will definitely be a regular at Nonne's.
