Refugio Lynch - Villa Catedral

No joke is on a summit in the Andes in Argentina. To say that the view is spectacular is an understatement! Nothing beautiful here, but hearty food and drinks is everything you really need. It is a Pit Stop for skiers and... Boarders and an occasional tourist like me who is ready to take a gondola and a chairlift to reach it. The staff is friendly and helpful and I thank you to the colleague who sat next to me in the chairlift, who helped to delay my fears, it was my girl's trip. I think his name was Martin; I ran into the restaurant later and he said he “ran the joint”. This is my favorite place to take my customers for a good meal and incredible views of the Catedral ski area!

Undoubtedly one of the best views in Bariloche. The ski lift is also open for pedestrians, so no excuse to the truly panoramic view of Bariloche and the Nahuel Huapi Lake while you have a hot chocolate, beer, lunch or Sll three!

If your skiing and what to stop for the best pizza on the mountain. This is a multi-level building with more than one restaurant. You have to go all the way to the top for Pizza Lynch. And the view is unforgettable.

Very convenient place to go, for a quick lunch up in the Cerro Catedral. Of all the different options I'd say Refugio Lynch is one of the best ones. I recommend going rather early for Argentine standards i.e. no later than 12:45, or else expect...it to be chaotic, especially if you are a family/friends group of more than 4, given it will be difficult to seat all of you in the same table It has 3 floors, with the lower one serving various options and the 3rd floor only serving pizza The food is good, average. Somewhat pricey, but what can you expect when they are giving you an option so close to the ski slope? Payment is in cash.... Service is VERY friendly but overwhelmed by the lack of space with so many people showing up at the same time
