Cerveseria La Parroquia

Great reasonably priced food, friendly and helpful staff in a pleasant square. Beware though the portions are huge ! Highly recommended

La Parroquia is a bar located in the center of Vilanova i la Geltrú, a town 50km far from Barcelona. We came here the Comparsa day (the most important day in Carnival in the town) to lunch with friends. We shared some tapas and I ate a sandwich, which was good. Pitifully, this day there are full of people and there are a lot of noise, so the place is not very comfortable. Other day probably would be better.

When ordering a coffee, we gave 2 euros to the waiter. He came back with change an the bill. The billed showed 1.30 euros yet the change was 20 cents. When we waved at him in order to obtain an explanation and the right change, he went back inside the bar, came back outside straight to our table, and dropped off the 50 cents missing. No apologies and truly unprofessional.

Muy buena calidad ratio precio y servicio perfecto. como unos deliciosos calamares, si voy a pasar por allí, lo repetiré con seguridad. Otro plato muy rico era también un chorizitos de patata. Aunque fuera mucho, tengo que comer todo por lo rico que era. la atmósfera es muy familiar. Aconsejó si pasas por Vilanova y quieres cenar como si estuvieras en tu casa.

Buena atención, la comida es rica y el baño limpio, precio razonable. Volveremos.
